Well, today was a fun one! While at the WNY Equifest I had the pleasure of meeting Mandee Flanders from The Leadline Podcast. I gifted her a custom tumbler with her business logo and name and she recorded a spontaneous interview with me! WNY Show Apparel Now Available!

Allow me a brief stroll down memory lane. I grew up outside of Rochester, NY, the WNY Morgan show was kind of my home show. I remember running around the fairgrounds in Horseheads and later at the infield at the track in Batavia (I think there may have been one other location earlier on but I can’t quite remember). Now the show is held at the Showplex on the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg.
For years my mother ran the show, I ran one of the largest Youth of the Year Contests in the country there (about 50 participants), showed countless horses and made a few victory laps too. Truth be told I met and started talking to my husband at the show and the first time our daughter met a horse, and most of our family and friends, was at the show when she was just two weeks old. She later went on to show in her very first Leadline and Walk-Trot classes at WNY, winning her first blue ribbons! (Do you know the ‘I Love My Mommy’ story? If not ask me at the show, it’s the cutest thing ever!) So, yeah, you could say there’s some history there for me!
Even though we live a couple states away now I still go back every year with the shop and I am very excited to be able to offer show apparel this year as well! All of the items are by pre-order only so don’t wait and think you’ll pick something up at the show, while I may have a handful of items available there I can’t guarantee anything.
$5 from each shirt or hoodie purchased will be donated to the show!
